New Review-Stranger In The Night

Stranger In the Night

Lacey Diamond
Paranormal erotic romance
Available from New Concepts Publishing
ISBN: 1-58608-987-0

Kimberly Marks, a web designer, after her divorce, bought a Victorian house. She preferred small town life to city life anyway, and had loved the house since a child. Her grandmother had told her a wonderful story that went along with the place. So she vowed then to make the house her own. Once she moved in the dreams began. Were they dreams?

What was it about the house that caused Kim's best friend Jill Dawson, a Realtor, to stay away? Didn't she sell houses? What was it about this house? What were the rumors, and why hadn't Kim heard anything until now? Will Kim have to do some research on her own to find out what lies behind those beautiful old doors? The same house that she and Tyler Canfield had danced and romped through?

Get ready for a shocker! This made for some seriously good suspense! After reading STRANGER IN THE NIGHT. Which, by the way, Kim and Tyler were awesome together! I loved those two! It was as if they were linked together by a heart chain. He made her laugh, and she lifted his spirits. one thing made me ponder. Kim was willing to buy the house sight unseen. I loved this part. Jill was against it. Why? This made for an intensely good, strong story!

Jill played a big role in the story. I liked her because she was stronger than Kim when it came to friendship, and she knew how to keep a secret. I liked the way the two conversed back and forth. This made it sound as though they were mad at each other all the time. This also showed how typical friendships are. And the way Jill kept this big secret from Kim, her best friend. This made the plot even better. I liked the pattern of events which helped to make the suspense tighten throughout the story, and kept my eyes frozen to each page to see what was going to happen next. I also loved the way Kim showed how courageous she was by remaining in a haunted house, and that she did not believe in ghosts anyway. And this made me wonder why Jill waited so long to tell Kim? The best part yet! What could be that horrible that Jill would not want to go into that particular house? Lacey Diamond should be proud of her great skill. Wonderful story!
